Honestly speaking vs speaking honestly

If someone starts a sentence with “honestly”, “truthfully” or “frankly”, do you ever wonder that maybe they weren’t speaking honestly, truthfully, or frankly before?
This was called out in a book I’m reading right now.
I find that I tend to use these words to emphasize or summarize my point while I’m speaking or writing. Sort of like saying: in conclusion, which just sounds weirdly formal in daily speak.
